Spring into Full Potential

After a very long winter of Mother Nature casting her wondrous spell, of being cooped up inside, lacking sunshine and feasting on carbs, we are all eagerly awaiting spring! Spring brings new beginnings for all. Spring flowers = new life and new growth! This spring let’s all make a mindful choice to spring into our full potential. What does this mean? In this very busy world we share with overwhelming responsibilities and routines we may reflect and see that we may be “stuck” in old routine and habits. What steps can we make to live our life at our full potential… and what can these changes mean for our overall life? This powerful quote encompasses it all.

The words we speak are the things you focus on, and reflects how we feel inside and the way we see the world, as WE are seen through the personal lens of our most intimate beliefs. If you hunt for success, you’ll get it! Hunt the negative and you’ll get it! Retraining your brain to focus on the positive, and being mindful to what we are thinking before we speak, as it not only affects us but those around us as well. When we look for the good in things, you will find it! That’s the way the brain works. By making the mindful choice to create a new daily habit, to start to feel the things you wish to have and create in your life.

Begin to take the steps towards creating those things you feel most passionate for, and before you know it… changes will manifest. We may find that many daily distractions, responsibilities, and frustrations may be holding us back, so it is important to focus on the “big picture”. Having goals set for the big picture, creating vision boards, timeline goals will help you to rationalize when those negative, intrusive, and overwhelming thoughts come in, you can redirect your thoughts to this big picture. Knowing that you have these goals set, it is important then to be mindful that our thoughts remain positive, this is a difficult task as we seem to be defaulted to negative thoughts of life, self and others. Being mindful of this is the first step of growth. Some tools that are helpful in this is practicing daily meditations as well as setting the daily intention to accept the positive spin on each day.

Planning your day and week will help you to stay focused on the big picture. Making time each Sunday to sit with your schedule, to set weekly and daily goals, with time scheduled for each task to complete, and when you fulfill that task that will lead you to your big picture. Ensuring that we are not pulled in all different directions, will help us to stay on the right track to moving forwards with an action plan to take the steps to reach your goals. It is a fulfilling feeling to cross off your accomplishments, and this will allow you to reflect on all you have done to keep moving forward, as well as enjoy leisure activities knowing you have accomplished your tasks.

When you feel it you will see and feel the power of “Yes I CAN”. Before you even put forth an action step, say and feel the power of  “YES I CAN”.

Believing in yourself, and treating yourself that you are worth it, is powerful! Ensuring you take well rounded care in thoughts, words and behaviours can make the world of difference in your life, you just need to be ready for this change. Also ensuring that you care for your nervous system to maintain brain and body functioning at its full potential is vital to provide professional and self care to this important factor of well rounded living.
